Established in 1824, the Mt.
Horeb congregation has a long history in the Methodist tradition of Christian worship and community outreach.
Sunday Services
Worship begins at 10:15 am every Sunday and ends with a traditional coffee hour fellowship. Our children
participate weekly in the beginning of our service before moving to
Sunday School. Nursery care is provided for children 5-years-old and younger. On the
last Sunday of each month, service is held in Codington Hall, a handicap-accessible building.

Community Outreach
Mt. Horeb has a strong, on-going commitment to help those in need. Our diverse outreach mission includes drives to collect food, clothing, and
supplies for donation to area shelters and local families. We also utilize
our commercial kitchen to prepare and serve food monthly at local soup
kitchens and at events in our own Codington Hall. Our Vacation Bible School, a summer camp for children held annually the second week in August, is open to children of all faiths and economic backgrounds. As an extension of our community outreach, we are a proud sponsor of Warren Boy Scout Troop 228.
